Federico Solla is an Associate Professor in Orthopaedics (sector MED/33) at Link Campus University in Rome, specializing in diseases of the musculoskeletal system. He serves as head physician for paediatric orthopaedics and scoliosis surgery at the 'Lenval' Paediatric Hospital in Nice, France (2020–2023). He holds a medical degree from the University of Cagliari, with specialization in paediatric surgery, a PhD in Science and Technology for Innovation, and additional training in orthopaedics and spinal surgery at the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France).

- Professor at European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (2011–2015)
- Honorary Lecturer at Faculty of Medicine of Nice (2013–2025)
Research focuses on spine alignment, adolescent scoliosis, paediatric injuries, surgical techniques, and infection prevention. He directs the French Scoliosis Study Group (GES) since 2021 under the French Spine Surgery Society (SFCR). Active on editorial boards of BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders and reviews for Spine LWW, Orthop Traumatol Surg Res, and others.
