Federica Valeriani

Federica Valeriani serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Human and Health Sports Sciences at the University of Rome Foro Italico, specializing in MEDS-24/B - General and Applied Hygiene. Her institutional role includes membership on the Quality Committee for the Master's Degree in Sports Science and Technology (LM68).

Her research spans General and Applied Hygiene, Health Promotion, and Epidemiology with emphasis on environmental microbiology, health safety surveillance, and disinfection protocols. She applies these principles to sports settings through methodological innovations including NGS, defined substrate technologies, and real-time PCR for biological risk prevention.
