Federica Picogna

Federica Picogna is a full-time PhD researcher at the Center for Accounting, Auditing & Control. Her research focuses on the responsible use of artificial intelligence in audit-related applications and classification systems. She actively works on developing methodologies to enhance accessibility of these advancements through open-source software like JASP.

Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics for Technology and Science and a Master’s Degree (cum laude) in Statistical Sciences, both from the University of Padua. During her Master’s, she served as a tutor, providing academic and motivational support, reinforcing her passion for teaching.

Her research interests bridge Information Technology and Statistics, emphasizing ethical AI integration in auditing. Picogna’s hobbies include gardening, cooking, traveling, reading, and music.
