Fausto De Michele

Fausto De Michele is an Associate Professor at the Department of European and Comparative Literature and Language Studies, University of Vienna. His teaching and research focus on intersections of literature, film, and European cultural traditions.

Research Interests span narrative representations of food, violence, and cultural identity in literature, film, and popular media, alongside historical theater traditions like the Commedia dell’Arte. His work bridges literary analysis with interdisciplinary cultural studies.
