Farnaz Amoozegar is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, affiliated with the Department of Clinical Neurosciences and the Hotchkiss Brain Institute. Her research focuses on optimizing migraine therapies and advancing rare headache disorder treatments, including cannabis-based interventions and spontaneous intracranial hypotension registries.

Research Areas: Spinal Cord/Nerve Injury & Pain, Migraine Therapeutics, Clinical Trials, and Rare Headache Disorders.
Grants: Received CIHR funding for an investigator-initiated trial (2022) on Cannabis as a migraine preventative.
Affiliations: Full Member of the Hotchkiss Brain Institute and contributor to the University of Calgary's Brain and Mental Health strategic initiative (2015–2021).
