Dr. Farida Saghafi is an Associate Professor of Nursing at the School of Nursing, University of Tasmania, with over three decades of clinical and academic experience. She serves as Associate Head of School, Learning and Teaching (Postgraduate) and contributes to academic integrity as a Senior Lecturer. Her career spans clinical roles such as Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Educator, and Quality and Risk Manager at institutions like St Vincent's Health and Imam Khomeini Hospital.

Dr. Saghafi's research focuses on Nursing Workforce, Clinical Reasoning, and Simulation-Based Education. Articles highlight her contributions to critical care education, ICU family mental health during the pandemic, and nursing curriculum design.
As Associate Editor of the Journal of Collegian and member of the Australian College of Critical Care Nursing's National Education Advisory Panel, she drives academic and professional standards. Her supervision includes doctoral projects on sepsis in older adults and rapid response teams.
