Dr. Farhana Ferdous is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at Howard University's College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA). She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Sydney (2012) and has held academic positions in Australia and the United States, including postdoctoral research and faculty roles at the University of Kansas (2012–2017). Her work focuses on healthcare architecture, elderly care design, and evidence-based design strategies for marginalized populations.
