Farhad Anvari

Farhad Anvari is a Lecturer at the School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences, specializing in Engineering Management and Manufacturing Technology. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester. His research focuses on Sustainability, Energy Management, Smart Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 integration. He teaches multiple Master's and undergraduate modules, including Total Productive Maintenance and Continuous Improvement with Lean Six Sigma.

His research explores sustainable operations, energy efficiency in smart manufacturing, and the impact of Industry 4.0 on traditional quality methodologies. Recent publications address energy management strategies and Lean Six Sigma applications in smart factories. He actively collaborates with manufacturing and engineering organizations to advance sustainable practices.

Anvari has received the 'Awards for Excellence (Outstanding Paper)' in 2012. He organizes CPD courses on Lean Six Sigma and contributes to industry-academia partnerships through workshops and invited talks. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to sustainable industry and energy efficiency.
