Farayi Chipungu is an Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and teaches courses at Harvard Law School. She serves as faculty chair for the Adaptive Leadership: Lawyers Driving Change program at Harvard Law School and the Women and Power program at Harvard Kennedy School. Her work focuses on leadership, change management, innovation, and public-private collaboration.
- Education: First-class honours from Monash University Law School (Australia), MPA from Harvard Kennedy School.
Expertise spans health politics, business regulation, gender and race identity, and public leadership. She collaborates with Harvard faculty to design capacity-building initiatives for governments, law firms, and Fortune 500 companies.
Professional Background: Prior to Harvard, Farayi practiced law at international firms King and Wood Mallesons and Slaughter and May, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. She spent eight years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, focusing on organizational transformations, and remains a Senior Advisor there.
