Fan Fei

Dr. Fan Fei serves as an Associate Professor of Business and Economics and Program Director for the Master of Business Administration program at Northwestern College. He holds a Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His research focuses on public finance, corporate finance, and economic history, with a notable study on highway construction impacts in 1920s America. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2022 and has received the Best Paper Award at the 42nd Economic and Business History Society conference for his work on federal-aid highways and general stores. Dr. Fei advises the Actuarial Science Club and Investment Club, and his scholarship bridges economic theory with historical analysis.

His academic contributions include peer-reviewed publications in Journal of Urban Economics and active involvement in professional societies such as the American Economist Association and National Tax Association.
