Dr. Falk Quenstedt is a Researcher at the Department of Old German Language and Literature, Institute of German Philology, University of Greifswald (since 2023). His academic career includes a postdoctoral research associate position at the Collaborative Research Center 980 "Episteme in Motion" at the Free University of Berlin (2020–2023), an interim junior professorship at the University of Hamburg (2020/21), and prior research roles at the Free University of Berlin (2014–2020). He earned his doctorate in 2020 with a dissertation on "Miracles Wissen: German-language travel narratives around 1200 in the context of Arabic literature" and holds an MA in Older German Literature and Language from the Free University of Berlin (2013).
