Dr. Faisal Aqlan is an Associate Professor of Industrial & Systems Engineering and Director of the Master of Engineering in Engineering Management programs at The University of Louisville. He co-directs the EDA Center for Organizational Readiness towards Enterprise 4.0 and the Center for Human Systems Engineering (CHSE). He holds a Ph.D. from Binghamton University (2013) and has prior experience at institutions like Penn State University and IBM Corporation. A senior member of IISE and ASEE, he focuses on system simulation, automation, engineering education, and virtual reality applications in manufacturing and healthcare.

His lab, the Aqlan Lab, explores these areas through interdisciplinary projects funded by NSF, EDA, and industry.
