معرفی
Fahad Mahmood is an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Illinois, where he leads a research group focused on ultrafast manipulation of quantum materials. He joined the university in 2019 after completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University and earning his PhD in Physics from MIT (2016). His research integrates advanced optical and photoemission techniques to study emergent phenomena in quantum materials, such as superconductors, topological systems, and frustrated magnets. Key interests include femtosecond-timescale control of electronic interactions and non-equilibrium dynamics.
