Dr. Fadila Bouamr is a Senior Staff Scientist at the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology, part of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). Her research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of HIV-1 and retroviral assembly/egress, particularly ESCRT machinery recruitment and ubiquitin's role in virus release.
