Fabián Cereijido is an Art History Lecturer at Antioch University Los Angeles (2016–present) and has taught at California State University, Los Angeles (2011–present), University of Redlands (2018–present), and UC San Diego (2004–2009, 2012, 2013). His academic work focuses on the politics of context in Latin American art, art censorship, and intersections between art, trauma, and political resistance.

Research interests center on Latin American art's political dimensions, including Goya's psychoanalytic parallels, censorship mechanisms, and anti-neoliberal artistic movements (1990s–2015). His publications address collective art practices like Ala Plastica and Con la salud si se juega, as well as Siqueiros' murals.
Teaching spans courses from prehistoric art to contemporary Latin American practices. He designed the Bridge Program's site-specific art history course and lectured on Disney's cultural influence in Latin America.
Scientific awards include UCSD's San Diego Diversity Award (2004–2006) and early career recognition from Colby College Museum of Art (1993) and New York Studio School (1988).
Grants include UCSD's Graduate Student Travel Grant (2005, 2008) and institutional affiliations with museums like MoMA, Guggenheim, and MAK Center for Art and Architecture.
