Fabiola Vilaseca Morera is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Girona (UdG) since 2008. She leads the Research Group on Advanced Biomaterials and Nanotechnology (BIMATEC) since 2017.

Research Interests: Her work focuses on cellulose fibres and cellulose-based composite materials. Future research aligns with three domains:
- Flexible electronics
- Multiscale materials and interface design

Publications: She has published over 120 JCR-indexed articles and contributed to ~190 conferences. Her research emphasizes performance enhancement, material tailoring, and nanostructure design.
Industry Experience: Includes R&D roles in pulp/paper and polymer industries.
