Fabiola Mancinelli is a Professor at the Department of Social Anthropology, University of Barcelona. Her research focuses on anthropology of tourism, digital nomadism, teleworking, and cultural heritage. She is affiliated with the Gender, Identity and Diversity Research Group (GENI) and the European Social Research Unit (ESRU).

Recent Publications: Her work explores themes like digital nomadism’s societal implications, pandemic-induced mobility restrictions, and UNESCO heritage frameworks. Key works include Digital Nomads (2025) and studies on paradoxical stasis in mobility.
Teaching: Courses include Introduction to Social and Cultural Anthropology, Anthropology of Tourism, and Project Design in Ethnography (Master's level).
