Fabio Galasso

Dr. Fabio Galasso is a Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken, Germany. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where his research focused on 'shape-from-texture' under Dr. Joan Lasenby. His postdoctoral work at the Machine Intelligence Laboratory (supervised by Prof. Roberto Cipolla) explored motion-based video segmentation and spatio-temporal clustering. Prior to his PhD, he worked at Ericsson Laboratories and Telecom Italia as a Researcher and Project Engineer, respectively.

His research interests center on advancing computer vision techniques, with emphasis on video analysis and segmentation.
