Fabien Josse is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Marquette University's Opus College of Engineering, with joint appointment in Biomedical Engineering. He directs the Microsensor Research Lab and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maine.
His research specializes in solid-state sensors, MEMS devices, acoustic wave sensors, and smart sensor systems. Major funded projects include NSF grants for acoustic wave sensors and DOE contracts for SH-SAW platforms. He developed courses in electromagnetic theory, MEMS, and sensor design.
Honors include the Lawrence Haggerty Faculty Research Award and Sandia National Labs Accomplishment of the Year. Recent publications focus on sensor coatings (2019), resonator design (2020), and battery monitoring (2021).
