Professor Jean-Louis Fabiani is a sociologist affiliated with the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the Central European University, Budapest. Former roles include Director of Studies (Full Professor) at the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS), Paris, and Regional Director of Cultural Affairs in Corsica. His research focuses on the philosophy of social sciences, sociology of arts/culture, intellectual studies, and music sociology. He has held prestigious fellowships at institutions like the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin and Princeton IAS.
