Dr. Feyza Gelebek is an Associate Professor at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, specializing in Radiodiagnostics. She has been serving in this position since 2019, having previously held the rank of Assistant Professor at the same institution from 2014. Her academic career is deeply rooted in medical imaging with a focus on diagnostic radiology applications across multiple organ systems.
Dr. Gelebek completed her medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine (1997-2003) followed by medical specialization at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine (2005-2011) in the Department of Internal Medicine with a focus on Radiodiagnostics. Her clinical training included positions at various healthcare facilities including İNAYET TOPÇUOĞLU TIP MERKEZİ (2013-2014), GAZİANTEP DOKTOR ERSİN ARSLAN DEVLET HASTANESİ (2013), GAZİANTEP İSLAHİYE DEVLET HASTANESİ (2011-2013), and bilecik bozüyük kandilli köyü sağlık ocağı (2003-2005).
Dr. Gelebek's research primarily focuses on advanced medical imaging techniques, particularly in liver diagnostics using ARFI elastography, prostate cancer imaging with multiparametric MRI, cardiac CT angiography, and various applications of 3 Tesla MRI. Her work spans multiple clinical areas including hepatology, oncology, cardiology, and interventional radiology. She has made significant contributions to non-invasive diagnostic methods for liver fibrosis, fat quantification in liver and pancreas, and characterization of focal hepatic lesions using diffusion-weighted imaging.

Dr. Gelebek has supervised six medical specialization theses on topics including liver iron measurement in hepatocellular carcinoma, liver and pancreatic fat assessment in chronic hepatitis, prostate cancer diagnosis with multiparametric MRI, liver fibrosis evaluation with ARFI elastography, and pulmonary vein variations. She has also participated in three university-funded research projects related to cardiac CT angiography, colorectal polyp diagnosis, and breast pathology differentiation using dynamic MRI. Currently, she serves on the Domestic Transplantation Coordination Board at Gaziantep University since 2014 and teaches numerous graduate and undergraduate courses in radiology, including specialized courses on cardiac CT imaging, emergency radiological approaches, and neurological imaging modalities.
