F. Robert Sabol serves as Professor, Associate Head, and CLA Dean's Professorship holder at Purdue University's Rueff School of Design, Art, and Performance, where he chairs the Division of Art and Design. He currently holds the position of National Art Education Association (NAEA) President Elect and has previously led the Art Education Association of Indiana (AEAI) and NAEA Western Region.

Research Focus: Dr. Sabol's work critically examines visual arts assessment methodologies, multicultural curriculum integration, and policy frameworks in art education. His scholarship emphasizes practical applications for educator professional development, reflected in over 150 conference presentations and co-authored seminal texts including Assessing Expressive Learning.
Funding & Service: His research has secured major grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, U.S. Department of Education, and National Art Education Foundation. He actively shapes national discourse through leadership in NAEA's Public Policy and Arts Administration group.
