معرفی
Ezgi Tuna Erdoğan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology at Koc University's School of Basic Medical Sciences. Her research focuses on neurophysiology, electrophysiology, and intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM), with applications to athletes, neurological patients, and traumatic brain injury. She specializes in advanced electrophysiological recordings (EEG, EP, HRV, GSR) and cortical mapping during neurosurgical operations.
Education:
- 2012: Specialization, Istanbul University
- 2006: Bachelor's Degree, Istanbul University
Research Interests: Dr. Erdoğan investigates the intersection of exercise physiology, epilepsy electrophysiology, and neurodegenerative disease models, with expertise in HRV analysis and neuromodulation via tDCS. Her work includes developing innovative drug delivery systems for brain-targeted therapies and studying blood-brain barrier dynamics under pathological conditions.
Technical Expertise: Utilizes electron microscopy, in vivo/in vitro neurodegenerative models, and 2D/3D cell culture applications to explore structural-functional properties of the blood-brain barrier and cortical mapping in surgical contexts.
