Ewa Kupiec

Prof. Ewa Kupiec is a Professor of Piano at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. She holds a distinguished career with studies at the Warsaw Chopin Academy, Katowice, and London Royal Academy of Music. Renowned for her interpretations of Chopin and contemporary works, she has performed globally with orchestras like the Munich Philharmonic and Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra. Her collaborations include conductors such as Marin Alsop and Stanislaw Skrowaczewski. Kupiec's recordings span composers like Schnittke, Lutosławski, and Szymanowski, earning critical acclaim including the ECHO Klassik Award.

Her research interests focus on Polish classical music, contemporary piano repertoire, and chamber music. Notable achievements include premiering Schnittke's Piano Concerto No.1 and recording his works with Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra.
