Evi Tzika

Dr. Evi Tzika is a Lecturer in Economics at Swansea University, affiliated with the School of Social Sciences. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Macedonia (Greece) and previously held research roles at the University of Cyprus Economics Research Centre and CEDEFOP (European Centre for Vocational Training). Her research focuses on applied macroeconomics, economic uncertainty, and econometric analysis, with publications in journals like Empirical Economics and The Manchester School.

Teaching responsibilities include International Macroeconomics (Level 7) and Applied International Macroeconomics (Level 6), covering topics such as global financial markets, optimum currency areas, and economic growth in developing nations. She has also constructed the Economic Policy Uncertainty (EPU) index for Greece and contributed to research funded by the Hellenic Observatory at LSE.

Active in academic collaboration, she has organized international conferences and participated in projects analyzing economic policy impacts across regions. Her work bridges theoretical macroeconomic frameworks with real-world applications in financial markets and policy analysis.
