Evelijn Martinius is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Organization Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She is also an External PhD Candidate at the Network Institute and the Organization & Processes of Organizing in Society (OPOS). Her research focuses on interorganizational collaboration in urban underground infrastructure projects in the Netherlands.
Evelijn holds a Research Master's degree in Public Administration and Organizational Sciences from Utrecht University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Her research interests include interorganizational collaboration, urban infrastructure development, public policy, organizational studies, and the Anthropocene's impact on infrastructure projects. She employs ethnographic methods to explore how organizations navigate complex underground infrastructure projects, emphasizing narrative analysis and reflexive approaches.
Evelijn contributed as a Project Researcher in the Inter-organizational collaboration in the governance of subsurface infrastructure networks project (2017–2022), focusing on collaborative governance structures and boundary management. She has no listed ancillary activities or awards.
Her work bridges academic and practical domains, with media engagement including a contribution to Rooilijn (2021) and a public engagement activity highlighted in May 2021.
