Eve Twivy is a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist at the University of Oxford’s Department of Psychiatry. Her work focuses on digital mental health innovation, particularly using virtual reality (VR) therapies for adolescents and patients with psychosis. She currently leads the development and testing of immersive VR therapy for needle phobia in adolescents, aiming to enhance accessibility and engagement in mental health care.
Dr. Twivy completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) and MSc in Psychological Research at the University of Oxford. Her research spans youth mental health, physical health integration, and evidence-based interventions. She has contributed to randomized controlled trials (RCTs) evaluating VR cognitive therapies for psychosis and has clinical experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Paediatrics.
Her publications explore VR therapy efficacy, adolescent depression measurement via social media, and post-treatment care for young cancer patients. She is part of the Oxford Cognitive Approaches to Psychosis research group, advancing innovative mental health solutions through interdisciplinary collaboration.
