Eve Kerr

Eve Kerr is the Kutsche Memorial Chair of Internal Medicine and Professor at the University of Michigan Medical School. She serves as Section Head for the Division of General Medicine and a Senior Research Scientist at the VA Ann Arbor Center for Clinical Management Research (CCMR). Dr. Kerr is also the Founding Director of the Michigan Program on Value Enhancement (MPrOVE).

Her research focuses on improving healthcare quality and value through:

• Development of clinical action measures for blood pressure treatment
• Assessment of low-value care and its reduction
• Healthcare workforce wellbeing and equity
• Implementation of evidence-based practices in VA systems
• Health services research methodology

Recent publications highlight her work in behavioral economics interventions, colorectal cancer screening optimization, hypertension management in kidney disease, and equity-focused healthcare redesign. Dr. Kerr's research spans diverse clinical domains including diabetes, surgery, and chronic disease management.
