Eve Keller is Professor of English and Director of the Fordham College Honors Program at Fordham University. Her research examines literature, science, and medicine in early modern England, with focus on John Milton and body studies.
She co-edited the 'Routledge Companion to Women, Sex, and Gender in the Early British Colonial World', exploring representations of the body in distress, vulnerability, and health within colonial contexts. Her scholarship intersects literary analysis with medical history and gender theory.
Keller's work illuminates how early modern scientific discourses constructed understandings of the female body and influenced social-political arrangements. She investigates connections between literary representations and emerging scientific paradigms.
