Eve Isham is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Arizona, where she serves as Director of the Consciousness-Action-Time Lab. Her research bridges cognitive neuroscience and behavioral science, focusing on temporal awareness, time perception, action agency, and intentionality.
- Research Interests: Temporal awareness, time perception, action agency, and intentionality. She employs techniques like EEG, eye tracking, and TMS to explore the neural and psychological mechanisms underlying these cognitive processes.
The Consciousness-Action-Time Lab investigates how cognitive processes essential to daily life are altered under various mental or health states. Her recent work examines spatial navigation, reward feedback, and decision-making frameworks.
She teaches courses such as Cognitive Neuroscience, Sensation and Perception, and advanced topics in perception and consciousness. Her academic contributions include publications in journals including Neuroscience of Consciousness, PLoS ONE, and Consciousness & Cognition.
