Professor Evan Kidd is a prominent academic in psycholinguistics and developmental psychology, currently serving as a Professor at the Australian National University (ANU) within the School of Literature, Languages & Linguistics. He previously held senior roles at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology and the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics. His research focuses on language acquisition, syntax processing, and the interplay between language and cognitive development. Kidd holds a PhD in Psycholinguistics from La Trobe University (2004) and a BBSc(Hons) in Psychology from the same institution (2000).
