EvaE Peart is a Lecturer at Berklee College of Music, affiliated with the Department of Music Business and Music History and Liberal Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Saint Joseph and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University. Prior to joining Berklee, she taught high school math in Bloomfield, CT, while coaching varsity sports and dance. She founded Nia Arts in 2014 to promote performing arts in underserved communities, emphasizing cultural appreciation and the African Diaspora’s societal impact. Currently, she works in New York City as a math specialist and teacher coach supporting over-aged, under-credited individuals with trauma-informed education. She advocates for the practical application of mathematical principles in everyday life and careers.
