Eva Traut-Mattausch is a Professor of Business and Organizational Psychology at the University of Salzburg's Department of Work, Organizational and Business Psychology. She leads the PsychoEconomic Research Lab and holds roles such as Deputy Head of the Doctoral Program Brain, Behavior and Health, and Scientific Director of postgraduate courses in Supervision, Coaching, and Psychosocial Counseling. Her academic career includes positions at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and a research stay at the University of Waterloo, Canada.
Education: She holds a Dr. phil. (2004) and Habilitation (2009) in Psychology from LMU Munich, alongside a degree in Business Administration (1998). Her training includes advanced studies in social and economic psychology.
Research focuses on workplace demands/resources, coaching efficacy, impostor phenomenon, and economic behavior. Her lab combines experimental and field studies to address organizational challenges. Key publications explore stress management interventions, impostor interventions, and leadership coaching effectiveness.
Leadership roles include Department Head (2017–2019), Deputy Head (2019–2024), and editorial board member of Coaching: Theory & Practice. She coordinates interdisciplinary programs like the BimA doctoral college (2016–2021).
