معرفی
Eva-Maria Korek is a PhD candidate at the Chair of Circuit Design at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), advised by Prof. Ralf Brederlow. She holds a Master of Science in electrical engineering from TUM and a Bachelor's degree from DHBW Stuttgart. Her research focuses on miniaturized multi-ion sensor arrays for healthcare and environmental applications, data processing for smart sensors, and additive manufacturing techniques like ink-jet printing. Her work integrates interdisciplinary approaches across electrical engineering, physics, and chemistry.
Key projects include developing electrochemical microsensors for cortisol detection in sweat (as part of the EU SmartVista project) and pH measurement systems-on-foil. She has contributed to publications in IEEE Sensors Letters and ESSCIRC, emphasizing sensor fabrication, hybrid readout interfaces, and low-power circuit design.
Eva-Maria's research aligns with IoT applications for medical and environmental monitoring, leveraging flexible electronics and impedance-based sensing technologies. She has experience in international collaborations, including a research stint at the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany and a semester abroad in South Korea.
