Eva Frank serves as Chair & Program Director of the Athletic Training Department and Associate Professor at Lebanon Valley College, where she has been faculty since 2017. She assumed leadership roles in January 2023 and earned promotion to Associate Professor in May 2023. Her office is located in AHPP 212 with contact email frank@lvc.edu.

Dr. Frank's research centers on international athletic training frameworks and specialty certification systems within athletic training practice. Her work examines professional identity development, certification barriers, and global standardization through mutual recognition agreements. She investigates simulation-based instructional methods for continuing education and professional development, with particular focus on behavioral styles in clinical instruction and anxiety measurement in practical examinations. Her German background informs her international perspective on healthcare education.
Recent publications (2020-2024) reveal strong thematic continuity in specialty certification research, international collaboration patterns, and innovative assessment methodologies. Her work increasingly addresses pandemic impacts on clinical practice while maintaining focus on global professional standards and educational technology integration.
Advising and Professional Engagement: Dr. Frank mentors students in research on specialty certification barriers and pandemic-related mobility impacts. She actively develops continuing education content including emergency care protocols and professional branding strategies. Her international collaborations span Ireland, Jordan, and China through World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy initiatives.
Professional Activities: She teaches Orthopedic Evaluation and Diagnosis with cadaver dissection, participates in global coffee hours sharing German perspectives, and contributes to interprofessional simulation training.
