Eusebio Gardella is an Associate Professor (Universitetslektor) at the Department of Mathematical Sciences of Chalmers University of Technology and Göteborgs Universitet. He is part of the Workgroup in Harmonic Analysis and Functional Analysis. Previously, he held a postdoctoral fellowship at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster from 2015 to 2021 and completed his PhD at the University of Oregon in 2015 under N. Christopher Phillips. His Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics were obtained from the School of Sciences at Universidad de la República in Uruguay, supervised by Fernando Abadie.
His research focuses on operator algebras, noncommutative dynamics, abstract harmonic analysis, and operators on L^p spaces. Notable contributions include work on Rokhlin dimension, classification of C*-algebras, and interactions between model theory and functional analysis. He has organized seminars on partial actions and Fell bundles and has been a speaker at international conferences such as the CBMS Conference on Classifying Amenable Operator Algebras (2025) and the CIMPA school on K-theory and operator algebras (2025).
Eusebio has taught various courses, including graduate-level seminars on C*-dynamics and partial actions. His work has been supported by grants and he actively contributes to the academic community through teaching, research, and collaborations.
