Eunkyung Back is a Lecturer in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages at the University of Houston, part of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in teaching Korean language, culture, and art history. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Social Studies from Ewha Womans University (Korea) and a master’s in Korean Art History from Seoul National University. She completed additional teacher training at Seoul National University.
Her teaching spans institutions such as the Houston Korean Education Center, Asia Society Texas Center, Houston Community College, and various Korean language schools. She has also delivered specialized seminars on Korean art and food culture at the Hilton College of UH and Universidad de Las Americas in Quito, Ecuador.
