Eunju Jenny Shin

Eunju Jenny Shin is a Lecturer in Neuroscience at Keele University's School of Life Sciences. She holds a BSc from Ajou University (South Korea), MSc from University of Manchester, and PhD from Keele University. Her research training includes postdoctoral work at Lund University and Cardiff University.

Research vision focuses on:

• Cortical neurogenesis mechanisms
• Stem cell models of neurodevelopmental disorders
• Schizophrenia pathophysiology
• Parkinson's disease therapies
• CRISPR-based disease modeling

Recent publications utilize human pluripotent stem cells to investigate genetic risk factors for psychiatric disorders. Techniques include single-cell transcriptomics and genome engineering.
