Eun Hye Son is a researcher at the School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography, University of Oxford, and a journalism fellow at the LG Sangnam Press Foundation. Her work focuses on identity politics, immigration policy, and media reporting.

Her research explores how UK far-right parties influence immigration policy and the intersection of identity politics with media representation. She is currently a visiting researcher at the COMPAS Centre (Centre on Migration, Policy and Society), where she examines these dynamics within British and European societal contexts.
Son has a 17-year career as a TV reporter for Korea Broadcasting Corporation (KBS), covering political affairs, economics, and international news. She previously worked in Seoul and spent 2006 at the University of Cambridge before returning to Korea. In August 2023, she resumed her role as a journalism fellow in Oxford, aiming to promote British-European perspectives in Korean media.
She is affiliated with the COMPAS Centre (University of Oxford), where her research aligns with its focus on migration and policy studies.
