Eun Hoo Kim

Eun Hoo Kim is an Associate Professor of Chemistry in the Division of Natural Sciences at Methodist University, affiliated with the College of Arts, Humanities & Sciences. He teaches courses in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, General Chemistry, and Physical Science.

• Education: B.S. and M.S. from Hanyang University; Ph.D. in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
• Research Focus: Expertise in organic synthesis, biologically active fluorinated compounds, organometallic (Fe, Pd, Zn, Zr) catalysts, and heterocyclic compounds.
• Postdoctoral Experience: Conducted research in the lab of 2010 Nobel laureate Dr. Ei-ichi Negishi and the Colby Lab at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.
• Outreach: Actively engages in the Cumberland County Science Olympiads (K-12) program.
