Eugenia Georges

Eugenia Georges is a Professor of Anthropology at Rice University, specializing in medical anthropology and transnational cultural studies. Her research focuses on the politics of reproduction, cultural analysis of pregnancy and childbirth, critique of new reproductive technologies, and social movements to demedicalize maternity care.
