Etsuro Kuronuma is a Professor at Waseda University's Faculty of Law, where he has been teaching since 2004. Previously, he served as Professor at Kobe University School of Law (2000-2004), Associate Professor at Kobe University (1997-2000), and Associate Professor at Nagoya University School of Law (1994-1997). He also held positions as Research Associate at the University of Tokyo Faculty of Law and was a Visiting Scholar at the University of California.
