Ethan Perkins

Ethan Perkins is Lecturer in Cancer Biology and Therapeutics at the University of Bradford's Institute of Cancer Therapeutics. His research develops advanced in vitro models to study tumour microenvironments and improve cancer drug development pipelines.

Research Focus: Perkins engineers physiologically relevant platforms including vessel and organ-on-a-chip technologies to model cancer progression and therapy response. His work integrates immunology, extracellular matrix biology, and microfluidics to create predictive screening systems.

Professional Experience: Combines academic training with industry experience as a senior scientist in genetic toxicology and immunotoxicology. His postdoctoral research developed organ-on-chip platforms for evaluating immunotherapies including CAR-T cells.
