معرفی
Ethan Deyle is a Research Assistant Professor of Biology at Boston University, affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences and the Boston University Marine Program. His research focuses on quantitative ecology, environmental data science, nonlinear dynamics, and marine systems. He teaches courses such as BI260 Marine Biology (Summer), MR521 Quantitative Fisheries Analysis, and BI306 Biology of Global Change.
Education: PhD from the University of California San Diego.
Research interests include empirical dynamic modeling, ecological forecasting, and causal inference in coupled human-natural systems. Recent work addresses coral reef resilience, harmful algal blooms, and the impacts of climate change on marine ecosystems. He has contributed to spatial planning for offshore wind energy and fisheries management.
Publications emphasize methodological advances in nonlinear dynamics and interdisciplinary applications. His work bridges ecological theory with real-world challenges in sustainability and policy.
