Eileen Hofmann

Eileen Hofmann is a Professor and Eminent Scholar at Old Dominion University, specializing in marine ecosystem modeling and physical oceanography. She holds a Ph.D. in Marine Sciences and Engineering from North Carolina State University (1980), with prior degrees in Physical Oceanography (MS, 1976) and Biology (BS, 1974). Her work focuses on biological-physical interactions in marine systems, Antarctic and Mid-Atlantic coastal dynamics, and climate change impacts on fisheries.
