Estrella Alvarez Da Costa

Estrella Alvarez Da Costa is a full-time Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the School of Industrial Engineering, University of Vigo. Her research focuses on Chemical, Thermal, and Environmental Engineering through her affiliation with the ChETE research group.

Education:

• Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela (1993), with a thesis titled Determination of physical-chemical parameters in gas-liquid systems, supervised by Dr. Gonzalo Vázquez Uña and Dr. Francisco Chenlo Romero.

Her work addresses physical-chemical parameters in multiphase systems, contributing to industrial-scale chemical and environmental engineering solutions.
