Esther Katharina Zitterl is a PhD candidate in the School of English at the University of St Andrews and holds a Tutor role at the University of Vienna. Her research focuses on Black British identity and the Windrush scandal, employing postcolonial theory to analyze sociopolitical dynamics in post-Brexit Britain. She has been recognized with the GAIN Gender & Agency Prize 2024 for her master's thesis on Black British women’s narratives.
