Esther Borghuis

Esther Borghuis serves as a Junior researcher at the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement (NSCR) since 2024 and concurrently at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since 2023, focusing on evidence-based approaches to policing and law enforcement within the Dutch security landscape.

She actively investigates police research methodologies and criminal investigation techniques, contributing to criminological frameworks that bridge academic theory with frontline law enforcement applications.
