Estelle M. McKee is a Clinical Professor of Law at Cornell Law School, where she teaches the Asylum and Convention Against Torture Appellate Clinic and the Lawyering program. She co-founded Cornell's first immigration law clinic and is affiliated with the Migration and Human Rights Program and Einaudi Faculty Associates.

Her research focuses on immigration law, asylum advocacy, and legal writing pedagogy. She has published extensively on U.S. deportation practices violating international human rights treaties, notably the Convention Against Torture, and on improving legal communication skills.
McKee has received the Anne Lukingbeal Award (2006) for her contributions to women at Cornell. Her work spans appellate litigation, immigration rights, and training attorneys nationwide through workshops on persuasive legal writing and appellate practice.
