Dr. Esin Babalik is a Lecturer in the Department of Textile Engineering at Adıyaman University's Faculty of Engineering, where she has been serving since January 2023. Previously, she held lecturing positions at Adıyaman University's Besni Vocational School (2013-2023) and Vocational School's Department of Textile, Clothing, Shoes and Leather (2009-2013). She completed her academic journey with a PhD in Textile Engineering from Gaziantep University (2013-2021), following a Master's degree from the same institution (2010-2012) and undergraduate studies at Istanbul Technical University (2001-2006).
Dr. Babalik's research expertise spans textile engineering with specialization in sportswear technology, polypropylene fiber applications, fabric performance analysis, and sustainable textile production. Her academic background combines strong theoretical knowledge with practical industry experience gained as a Merchandiser and Export Manager at textile companies prior to her academic career.
Her recent publication record (2019-2023) demonstrates active research in objective comfort assessment methods for sportswear, polypropylene fiber applications, and knitted fabric properties. Her work appears in both international and national journals, reflecting her ability to contribute to the global textile research community while addressing local industry needs in Türkiye.
